STEP BY STEP GET-TOGETHER

Make an impact and connect policymakers and newcomers in a unique way. With the short film Step by Step as the focal point, we will build a bridge together between municipalities, communities, and newcomers.

 

This interactive event offers an inspiring and personal experience that contributes to mutual understanding and collaboration.

 

Create valuable encounters and give newcomers a voice, while policymakers come into direct contact with the reality behind the policy.

THE DIVE DEEP PROGRAMME

 Step by Step

We begin with the screening of the short film Step by Step. This film was created by newcomers and highlights the daily challenges faced by this group.

 Interactive Talk

After the film, there will be an interactive session where newcomers share their personal stories. Through dialogue and response, this conversation provides the opportunity to truly listen to one another, reflect, and gain new insights.

 Live Music

A number of actors from the film will conclude the get-together with live music.

An opportunity to engage in conversation with newcomers, fostering personal connections and new perspectives.

Policymakers have the opportunity to hear directly from newcomers in an accessible space about their needs and experiences, which can help inform future policy development.

Through the encounter between different target groups, such as newcomers, policymakers, and other stakeholders, valuable connections and collaborations can emerge.

The get-together provides space for reflection on societal issues surrounding integration and inclusion, and how each individual can contribute to solutions.
